Beginning with her recording debut RADIO, Reid quickly transitioned to a 20 year history as ⅓ founding member of Alberta trio, the fates.

Currently nurturing a multi-album recording relationship with Colin Linden, she continues recording and releasing music from her grass routes project, The elements.

King’s artistry has earned national recognition, including a nomination for Blues Album of the Year at the 2025 Juno Awards, as well as a nomination for Female Blues Vocalist of the Year at the 2026 Canadian Blues Music Awards. She has also worked with legendary artists such as Randy Bachman (The Guess Who / BTO) and Raul Malo (The Mavericks), collaborations that reflect her versatility and respect within the industry.
