Kaiya is a singer, guitarist, piano player and songwriter whose introspective nature drives her desire to weave unique textures of melodies and lyrics combined. Through the lens of vulnerability, she melds present and past tense together creating her own brand of indie folk.
In 2023, her debut EP premiered on Canadian indie outlet Cups n Cakes Network, cited as “an excellent debut from a songwriter sure to cement her place in Edmonton’s burgeoning indie folk scene.”
