program description
A collaboration between the Bissell Centre, Edmonton Arts Council Shop and Edmonton Public Library's Makerspace at Stanly A. Milner Library. Select works of Dene artist, Jon Robillard, will be on display in Churchill Square, located at the rooftop lookout above the Edmonton Arts Council Shop. With the support of Edmonton Public Library staff, visitors may also create a tote bag with Jon's work, using tools from the Stanley A. Milner Makerspace.
Artist information
Jon is a self-taught Dene artist. He draws inspiration from the animals and Indigenous peoples who are native to this land. Jon was the artist in residence at Bissell Centre from 2022 to 2023.
