Krista Hartman
12:15PM
Krista Hartman is an Edmonton based alt-country songwriter. Raised in Canada’s North Country, Krista grew up surrounded by music—playing acoustic guitar and singing old country ballads at midnight campfires. Songwriting has been her golden key to processing life.
After graduating, Hartman set out on a solo journey abroad—busking on city streets, performing in pubs, and sharing songs with strangers across continents. When she returned to Canada, she carried a suitcase full of stories—songs inspired by hitchhiking and performing on trains.
Hartman’s sound reflects both her roots and her travels. With a collection of five independent albums and a duet with Ron Sexsmith to her name, Krista Hartman continues to evolve as an independent artist. Hartman is a spirited live performer and her songs are heartfelt postcards to the world.
Drifter has musical aura contributed by a host of talented players, including Matt Kelley on pedal steel (Bet the Farm); Steve Dawson on multiple guitars, Jeremy Holmes (Bass), Liam MacDonald (Drums), Sheldon Zaharko (Engineer) Stew Kirkwood co-prices with Hartman and delivers drums, vocals, acoustic and electric guitars, mandolin and tenor guitar.
Hartman recently released a Cross-Canada collaboration, Drifter/Nomade with Kristine St-Pierre in French and English and will share her 5th album single by single in May 2026.
Laurelle K
1:45PM
Laurelle K is a singer songwriter who’s passion for creating meaningful music has taken on many incarnations over the years. From joining every choir possible in school, to venturing out as a solo singer songwriter, forming a trio of troubadours with The Red Deers, recording and touring with Alberta’s own folk music master Bill Bourne, long time collaborations with Bass player Carl Stretton (C-note), recent collaborations with guitarist and songwriter Adam Kidd, and being the newest addition to the sensational little soul choir AV & the Inner City, Laurelle’s love for musical expression runs deep! She seamlessly blends folk, jazz, & soul influences into her own evocative and timeless sound.
Having shared stages with the likes of Bill Bourne, Bedouin Soundclash, The Wailin Jenny's, Jeniva Magnus, Chumba Wumba, Peter Yarrow, and more, Laurelle is a seasoned performer with the ability to captivate & transport her audience.
Francis Kavanagh
3:15PM
Francis Kavanagh was a dairy herdsman from northern Alberta and he traded in his coveralls and rubber boots for a guitar and mic.
Kavanagh’s songs are as old and comfortable as your favourite slippers and sweater.
Mike Crampton and The Most Humble
4:45PM & 6:00PM
Mike Crampton writes songs that behave like good stories. They arrive funny, sneak up on something honest, and leave you thinking about a line long after the show is over. Based in Didsbury Alberta, Mike blends dry humour with sharp, observant songwriting about modern absurdities, awkward humanity, and the moments we don’t always say out loud.
His debut album Death, Dying, and Other Hilarious Topics moves easily between wit and vulnerability, pairing laugh out loud songs with quieter, unexpected turns. A Mike Crampton show is more than just listening, it is shared. Expect plenty of singing along, playful back and forth, and the kind of easy audience interaction that turns a room full of strangers into co-conspirators for the night.
Come for the humour, stay for the heart, and be ready to sing a little louder than you planned.
